DIEGO GARDO << CINEMATOGRAPHER / DIRECTOR >>
Hi, I am Diego, a cinematographer living and working in Berlin. I grew up in a working class neighbourhood on the outskirts of Madrid. In the late 2000s, I took my first steps into the world of art in the graffiti underground scene which flooded the walls of my streets. It was there that I recognized the potential of art to transform reality, and from then on my interest evolved towards telling visual stories that portray my lived experience.
Largely self-taught, I have spent the past few years dividing my work between music videos, fashion and narrative films, in addition to commercial work.
